International House London is currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Korean teachers to join our growing Foreign Languages team. The role primarily involves teaching adults on our evening face-to-face courses at our school in Covent Garden. Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Korean language lessons to adult learners.
* Create engaging and effective lesson materials and activities.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of courses and maintain consistent teaching standards.
* Participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Essential
* Native or Proficient Korean speaker
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English
* Initial teaching qualification
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience to groups
* Bachelor’s degree
* Must have the right to work in the UK and be currently based in the UK
Desirable
* QTS
* Certificate of Korean Language Teacher
* Bachelor's Degree in Korean Language Education
* CELTA
* Experience in teaching in-company and one-to-one courses
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position. Most lessons are the evening from 18.30 -20.30, once a week. We also have some classes in the afternoons, Friday evenings and Sunday mornings.
