This is a newly created, commercially critical position within a well-capitalised, privately owned organisation experiencing sustained growth. Having successfully launched their own private equity fund, our client is now seeking a commercially astute and strategically minded corporate finance professional to take full ownership of their investment activity overseeing a robust portfolio and driving further deal flow and value creation. The Role As Head of Investments, you will report directly to the senior leadership team & work closely with the business owners on a broad remit spanning investment strategy, deal execution, and portfolio management. Key areas of responsibility will include: Leading and developing the firms private equity investment strategy and pipeline. Managing the performance of existing investments and identifying opportunities to maximise value. Driving origination, due diligence, financial modelling, and execution of new deals. Acting as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all investment decisions and corporate finance matters. Playing a key role in future team development as the investment function scales. The Person This role is best suited to a senior corporate finance or investment professional with a strong track record of deal execution and portfolio management. You will bring strategic thinking and commercial acumen, alongside the ability to roll your sleeves up and deliver. The ideal candidate will offer: A strong background in Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Investment Management. Proven experience leading transactions from origination through to completion. Professional qualifications (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFA) are advantageous but not essential. A confident, articulate communicator with the ability to engage at board level. A hands-on, pragmatic approach with a passion for building long-term value.
