The Assistant Manager will be joining the General Manager in heading up a well-established team and will also work closely with the current management team to help progress the business to new heights. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
* Cellar management, specifically aimed at real ales.
* Assisting in function management for large bookings/weddings.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in senior roles within hospitality (essential).
* Experience of working with a team of upwards of 25 members of staff.
* Table service.
* Barista trained (preferable).
* Cocktail trained (preferable).
* Staff training.
Job responsibilities include:
* Leading the team on shift.
* Running shifts.
* Liaising with the kitchen team.
* Opening and closing the venue.
* Dealing with customer enquiries on shift.
* Staff training.
* A positive attitude towards work and customer service.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment as part of a small but skilled team.
* Upholding the standards and expectations of the management team and adhering to company policies at all times.
* Working with a positive mindset and a smile on your face.
The Assistant Manager will also head up a team of supervisors to maintain the extremely high standards that the business holds as standard. The right candidate will bring new ideas to the table and utilize their personality and experience to further develop the business to higher levels. Candidates with lower-level experience, hoping to progress their career, will be considered based on their drive and willingness to learn. Salary can be fixed hours or on an hourly basis.
