Shipping Coordinator - Key Responsibilities
1. Provide and support excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
2. Ensure a high level of satisfaction through the timely, efficient, and effective completion/delivery of customer orders.
3. Report delays as soon as possible.
4. Process all stock item sales orders, raising all relevant paperwork, dispatch notes, sales invoices, etc., on the Sage 200 system.
5. Send official quotations for all solution/consumable/equipment items in a timely manner. Follow up all outstanding quotations each month.
6. Produce shipping documents, dangerous goods notes, and arrange relevant transport for all product sales orders.
7. When necessary, establish and maintain liaison with relevant staff or customer representatives to help resolve any technical/schedule inquiries that arise prior, during, and after dispatching orders.
8. Support Quality Systems Coordinator to ensure the company complies with all REACH regulations associated with the business.
9. Arrange import clearance for items being shipped from Sifco USA and for components being shipped from UAE/Canada/etc. (IPR Simplified procedure).
10. Support dispatch/packing staff with any/all relevant shipping information requirements, e.g., labeling/compatibility/bottle sizes/etc.
Shipping Coordinator - Key Experience & Skills
1. 3 years previous experience in a shipping role within a related industry.
2. Competent in Microsoft and Sage-based systems.
3. Position holder has knowledge of shipping legislation and regulations. They must be analytical, result-oriented, creative, flexible, and a team player.
