HCB Widdows Mason is seeking a motivated and skilled Property Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Conveyancer to join our dynamic residential property team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a varied caseload of property transactions while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions from start to finish.
* Conduct property searches and due diligence, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for sale, lease agreements, and related documentation.
* Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
* Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the transaction process.
* Handle registrations with the Land Registry and manage Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless client experience.
* Stay updated with relevant laws and industry best practices.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Conveyancer with relevant experience.
* Strong knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and robust problem-solving capabilities.
* Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
* Membership with the Law Society or relevant professional bodies would be an advantage.
