The Senior Quality Manager role sits within our Offshore O&M Global Functions, focusing on delivering and implementing the quality requirements to ensure our offshore windfarms remain operational and promote quality best practice.
The Senior Quality Manager is the main Quality contact for the Offshore O&M business globally, responsible for ensuring that our teams are suitably compliant with our quality requirements. This role is responsible for development and implementation of the Quality management System, including annual internal and external audits.
The Senior Quality Manager will develop our Quality Management System to support efficiency across our business and continually improve our processes & practices.
What you'll be doing
As part of the Integrated Management Systems Team within the Offshore O&M Global Planning & Projects department and reporting to the Integrated Systems Manager, the Senior Quality Manager is responsible for:
1. Coordinating a strategic view of the critical Quality processes to ensure H&S requirements and operational objectives are delivered at all O&M sites.
2. Identifying and developing new Offshore O&M procedures and processes to ensure safe, legally compliant and operationally efficient windfarm operations.
3. Managing the Global Quality Management System in Offshore O&M, aligned to ISO 9001, working with all Global departments and Operational Hubs to ensure consistency and efficiency.
4. Assisting in the preparation of the company for IMS (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22301) alignment or / and accreditation.
5. Ensuring the ongoing management of multiple electronic document management systems.
6. Supervising and supporting the correct use of controlled and uncontrolled documents and improvement strategies.
7. Reviewing, reporting and presenting performance to senior management and other interested parties (including external contractors & auditors) for all areas of Quality & Training.
What you'll bring
1. A general understanding of Renewables / Offshore power generation technologies and mandatory certifications would be advantageous.
2. Knowledge of Management Systems and in particular Quality (ISO 9001).
3. Experience in coordinating with a variety of stakeholders.
4. Experience of coordinating purchasing administration such as purchase requisitions.
5. Computer literacy, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office components especially Excel, PowerPoint, Project and document Management systems.
6. Effective written and oral communication as well as interpersonal skills.
7. Developed report writing, presentation skills and ability to summarize parameters and drivers impacting the scope of works.
8. Ability to look forward and see / anticipate problems.
9. Results oriented and teamwork / collaboration skills.
10. Ability to be proactive and take responsibility for matters, while responding to competing business demands and challenging targets.
11. Excellent communication skills to be able to present complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
12. Organisational skills to ensure all deliverables are fulfilled on time and of good quality.
