Sadly, we are not able to offer sponsorships and hold no sponsorship licence Responsibilities of the role The post holder will offer a full range of care and services to all clients following their personal care plan. Including: Getting in and out of bed Washing and bathing Continence care Help with dressing Assisting at mealtimes and preparing drinks, Administration of medication Completing house duties which may include cooking, laundry, vacuuming, ironing and other housework. To support clients to live as independently as possible through a personalised tailored approach in all daily activities, while ensuring the clients dignity and privacy is maintained. To ensure that care is provided to all clients with compassion and at the highest quality in a way that complies with the CQC framework of governance and compliance and safeguarding policies and behaviours. To liaise with family members, other healthcare professionals and colleagues to ensure all responsibilities are delivered efficiently and effectively. To attend all relevant and compulsory training to continually improve skills and understanding. To attend all team meetings and one to one meetings for key communication and continued professional development. To act as a mentor for new Carers if appropriate Skills, experience and abilities A good level of written and oral English and be able to accurately complete electronic daily logs The ability to prioritise and manage time effectively and be adaptable to meet different client requirements To be friendly and personable, with a passion and commitment for caring for vulnerable individuals To be able to understand professional boundaries of both clients and co-workers. While understanding safeguarding, health and safety and data protection laws to protect clients. To be able to understand of operating in a heavily regulated environment. To act as a role model through impeccable client, owner and team members service To be committed to continuing to update knowledge and personal development. High standards of personal presentation and hygiene, including the cleanliness of uniform provided and ensuring jewellery, nails and hair are in line with company policy. The use of a mobile to manage schedules and keep in contact with the office. A full clean driving licence, with the ability to be mobile and travel in a timely fashion.
