We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to support a pharmaceutical client in Northumberland.
Scope of Work:
1. Vendor management for delivery, installation, and commissioning of packaged equipment.
2. Creation and management of schedule for vendor visits.
3. Overseeing process to book-in vendors and manage RAMS.
4. Engaging with end users to communicate and plan vendor visit schedule.
5. Acting as host during vendor’s time on-site.
6. Management of schedule to the agreed project timeline.
7. Coordination with vendors to deliver their quoted packages.
8. Coordination with vendors for commissioning.
9. Project management to deliver the project.
10. Coordination of key contractors and elements of work.
11. Liaise with and manage key stakeholder expectations.
12. Monitor project budget and provide accurate monthly reports.
13. Attendance at daily update meetings.
14. Ensure compliance with all HSE & CDM requirements.
15. Develop and update project schedule defined appropriately according to project stage-gate.
16. Identify, record and monitor project risks, seeking escalation where required.
Requirements:
1. Degree in a relevant science/engineering discipline.
2. Previous experience of packaging line upgrades and chiller replacements.
3. Strong understanding of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices.
4. Junior to intermediate level Project Engineer/ Project Manager with experience in managing cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and processing projects, in a highly automated GMP production environment.
5. Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage and execute projects from initiation to completion.
6. Understands project management process; programming, scope development, design development, implementation and project closeout.
7. Execution/adherence – demonstrated record of on time delivery.
8. Ability to work with end user on developing operating procedures, maintenance & calibration plans.
9. Onsite Outside IR35 Contract.
