ENGLISH TEACHER WANTED The team at Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an English teacher within the central Coventry region who has the ability to work across schools within the wider Coventry locality. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate qualified teacher who specialises in English Language and English Literature. We have multiple positions across a range of schools in and around Coventry, allowing you the autonomy over where you work and the flexibility to suit your own availability. Pay Rate: £150-200 (per day, dependent upon experience) - We will PAY TO SCALE for all long term fully qualified roles Location: CV6 and surrounding areas Required Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school - ECTs encouraged to apply - Experience teaching pupils with special educational needs - Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Job Roles/Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging English Language and English Literature lessons to a range of age groups and abilities - Ensure differentiation within your planning to meet the individual needs within each class - Assess pupils learning and progression on a regular basis, offering feedback for areas of strength and areas to work on - Work in close partnerships with colleagues within the department - Promote safeguarding principles and ensure everyone within the schools health and safety is of pinnacle importance IF YOU ARE AN ENGLISH TEACHER OR HAVE SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE COVERING ENGLISH LESSONS WITHIN A SECONDARY SCHOOL SETTING PLEASE SEND YOUR CV TO OR CALL MOLLY ON FOR FURTHER INFORMATION All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
