A global leader in IT services and consulting is seeking an experienced Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Consultant to lead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of DLP solutions for its client. Responsibilities:
* End-to-End DLP Implementation - Assess and deploy DLP strategies to protect sensitive data across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
* Gap Analysis & Risk Assessment - Evaluate the existing DLP infrastructure, identify security gaps, and provide insights on missing controls.
* Program Development & Strategy - Provide recommendations on how to enhance and drive the DLP program forward, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
* Tool Configuration & Optimization - Implement and fine-tune Symantec DLP and other endpoint DLP tools to maximize data protection efficiency.
* Incident Response & Policy Enforcement - Define, monitor, and refine DLP policies while collaborating with security teams to handle data loss events effectively.
Skills/Must have:
* DLP Solutions Expertise - Hands-on experience with Symantec DLP and other enterprise DLP tools.
* Security & Risk Assessment - Strong ability to conduct gap analysis and evaluate data security risks in an enterprise environment.
* Endpoint Protection - Knowledge of endpoint security tools and their integration with DLP frameworks.
* Regulatory Compliance & Best Practices - Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, or other data protection standards.
* Technical Advisory & Stakeholder Communication - Ability to present recommendations to security teams and senior management, influencing security roadmap decisions.
