We are looking for a proactive, forward-thinking individual to join our client's friendly and well-established company in Hailsham in a full-time (39hrs a week) role. As a Test Engineer, you will be working in the test department of a leading manufacturer supplying vibration test systems and associated equipment worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Systems & Equipment: Work within the test department to test and maintain a range of products.
2. Product Range: Handle components such as high-power electromagnetic actuators, sensor interfacing, and power supplies (single-phase and three-phase).
3. Documentation: Follow company test procedure documents with attention to detail.
4. Fault Finding: Perform component-level fault finding on electronic systems.
5. Test Equipment Operation: Operate a range of manual and PC-based test equipment (specific training provided where required).
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
1. Qualifications: HNC in electronic engineering or similar.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a test environment, performing routine test duties and fault finding.
3. Skills: Proficiency in Word and Excel, and the ability to work from electronic schematic diagrams.
4. Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic electronic theory and the ability to perform component-level fault finding.
5. Additional Experience: Some knowledge of mechanical principles, power electronics, and 3-phase systems is beneficial but not essential.
6. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
