Job Summary
We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist as a Clinical Team Leader for the Adult Acquired Team, to cover the current post holder's maternity cover for 12 months. This post is currently based at Chippenham Hospital predominantly covering the North of the county, but also with the requirement to travel to a variety of community settings across Wiltshire. Specialist knowledge in a wide variety of adult acquired conditions, especially complex neurological conditions and stroke is essential.
We are an extremely friendly and supportive Department which has an excellent system of supervision and mentoring.
Main Duties of the Job
You will work as Team Lead for the Adult Acquired Team. This includes planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating the Speech and Language Therapy Service on a day-to-day basis.
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and appropriate intervention for patients with communication and swallowing impairments. You will support patients to reach their potential and live their lives to the full. You will be able to focus your clinical work in your area of interest and expertise.

Minimum Requirements
* Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification
* Registered member of Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
* You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
