COME AND JOIN US. .. We are currently seeking a compassionate, attentive and confident Afternoon Tea Waiter to join our Glendevon team. The on target earning potential for this role is £15.26 / per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of £11.56, plus a qualified estimate of £3.70 per hour in gratuities and service charge. As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards. Your working pattern will be 24 hours per week, across our 3 service days; Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The start of shift may vary slightly depending on breakfast demands, however finish will remain consistent at 6pm. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: You’ll be delivering a warm and memorable afternoon tea experience for all our guests Supporting our busy breakfast shift, setting up our Afternoon Tea offerings and providing an unforgettable service. Attending to any guest queries and enquiries in a caring and helpful manner; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, you recognise that to this person it’s likely a first You’ll maintain the highest standards of service, room preparation and presentation throughout the Glendevon Lounge. Playing a significant part in making sure both the lunch and dinner operation runs without a hitch, and our service is smooth You’ll take a keen interest in the operation and develop suggestions as to ways of increasing quality of service Proficiently up selling and encouraging other team members to do the same at every opportunity Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way The kind of person we're looking for : Having had experience within a 5 hospitality environment would be ideal, however having a great attitude is essential You vave fantastoc previous waiter and customer service experience, and you're looking to further develop your expertise within an afternoon tea setting You possess a positive, professional, and courteous attitude, always see a glass half-full, and are consistent in your mood, manner, and behaviour.
