Senior Commercial
REPORTING TO: Head of Commercial.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing commercial operations, including minimising costs and risks on mission-critical projects while ensuring quality and value for money. You will lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and Buyers, implement commercial best practices, and develop cost templates to ensure consistency across the business. You will also be involved in reviewing tenders for risks and opportunities, managing sub-contractor variations, and ensuring compliance with NEC4 requirements.
Additionally, you will monitor project costs, submit client applications for payment, and manage the payment process for sub-contractors. Regular site visits will be required to assess project progress.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Managing costs and risks for critical projects, ensuring compliance with required standards.
2. Leading and developing a commercial team.
3. Reviewing tenders, managing variations, and ensuring contract compliance.
4. Monitoring project costs and overseeing.
5. Regular site visits to ensure project progress and quality.
