Teaching Assistant to Support Small Group Interventions – Starting Easter 2025
We are currently recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support small groups of children with targeted interventions at a school in Blackburn with Darwen, starting Easter 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide tailored support to help students excel academically and make a real difference in their learning journey.

Position: Teaching Assistant (Small Group Interventions)
Start Date: Easter 2025
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with small group interventions to boost students’ academic progress
* Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver effective interventions
* Provide one-on-one support to students who need additional help
* Track and monitor student progress, adjusting support as necessary
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
* Support the social and emotional development of students
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children, ideally in small group settings
* A passion for supporting students’ educational development
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
* Patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to learning support
* A relevant qualification (Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
