Mental Health Services in Carmarthenshire are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join the inpatient team on Bryngolau Ward, Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.
Main duties of the job
Bryngolau Ward is a 15 bedded Older adult acute inpatient unit. If you enjoy the challenge of working in a busy environment we would like to hear from you. Successful applicants will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team but must be able to work flexibly and within a shift system providing 24 hour a day cover, 365 days a year.
Staff are provided with a supportive working environment and the opportunity for professional development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Knowledge
* NVQ 2 or equivalent experience
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* A commitment to work towards gaining NVQ Level 3
Experience
* Must have an aptitude to work with clients who suffer with Mental Health problems and their carers
* Experience in working with people with mental health problems
Language Skills
* Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
