Job Title: Repair Manager Location: West Midlands (Hybrid Working) Contract: 12 Months Rate: £575 per day About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Repair Manager to oversee and manage responsive and planned repair services for a prominent housing organization within the West Midlands. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient delivery of repairs and maintenance services, focusing on both tenant satisfaction and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the repairs and maintenance teams, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard. Oversee the responsive and planned repair programs, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to customer satisfaction. Coordinate and schedule repairs across a portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with housing and safety regulations. Develop and implement strategic plans for asset management, focusing on void properties, disrepair, and maintenance. Manage relationships with external contractors, ensuring high-quality service and performance. Ensure adherence to health and safety, legal, and compliance standards in all repair work. Report regularly to senior management on repair performance, budgets, and compliance. Key Requirements: Significant experience in a Repair Manager or similar leadership role within housing, local authorities, or housing associations. Extensive experience in managing both planned and responsive repairs. Proven ability to coordinate work and manage operations efficiently. Strong knowledge of asset management, compliance, and void management processes. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a hybrid setting, with flexibility to visit properties when required. Benefits: Hybrid working model - Flexibility between home and office.
