A school based in Birmingham are seeking a highly organised and personable Admissions Officer to provide a first-class service to prospective families, pupil recruitment agents, internal departments and third parties. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of applications, recruitment and admissions processes, from initial enquiry to enrolment, contributing to increased student numbers and promoting a positive first impression of the school Key Responsibilities: Manage the admissions process for all areas of the school, including international short-stay pupils, from enquiry to onboarding. Oversee international pupil applications, liaising with parents and agents. Assist with recruitment events (Open Days, assessments, exams, etc.). Provide excellent customer service via email, telephone, and in-person communication. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the school database (CRM), spreadsheets, and third-party systems. Manage online testing for prospective pupils. Organise Taster Days and communicate details to relevant departments. Oversee the onboarding process for new pupils. Provide weekly enquiry and pupil statistics. Manage statutory census returns and ensure compliance with ISI reporting procedures. Oversee the child student visa process, working with external parties and internal departments, ensuring compliance with sponsor duties. Collaborate with Marketing staff to ensure website and printed materials are current. Act as a positive ambassador for the school. Who We're Looking For: Highly organised and efficient with strong administration skills in a customer service environment. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with a warm and professional demeanour. Exceptional attention to detail. Extensive experience in data processing, database and spreadsheet management. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Ability to build positive relationships with prospective parents, agents, and internal departments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting tight deadlines.
