To work as part of the 0-19 Universal Health Service and to provide strong clinical leadership and supervision to an integrated 0-19 skill mixed team. This role involves leading on the delivery of the Health Child Programme 0-5 and providing a family-centred, evidence-based public health service that aims to proactively improve health outcomes for a defined caseload, population or community. This includes reducing the risks and impact of health inequalities by working in partnership with families, communities, and other professionals.
This will be achieved through the delivery of the model of health visiting at community, universal, targeted, and specialist levels. Safeguarding is embedded within the model, considering safe and effective management of risk for children, young people, and families.
