The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EBD Teacher to provide tailored educational support to students with special educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
As an ALN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized education to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. You will create engaging lesson plans tailored to each student’s unique learning style, ensuring all pupils can access the curriculum and reach their full potential. The role involves close collaboration with teaching assistants and support staff. You will also monitor and assess progress regularly, adapt teaching strategies as needed, and maintain open communication with parents and carers. A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach is essential in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of ALN Teacher, you will need to:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Primary or Secondary.
2. Have experience working with children with a variety of ALN.
3. Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting.
4. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of ALN Teachers and LSAs.
5. Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
