Principal Acoustic Consultant
Our client is a reputable independent consultancy that specialises in architectural and environmental acoustics. They are looking for a dedicated Acoustic Consultant to join their team. Requirements:
1. A BSc and/or MSc in Acoustics or a related field, along with membership with the Institute of Acoustics
2. Possession of a valid UK driver’s licence
3. Previous experience with EIA-scale projects within the renewable energy sector or general construction environment
4. Proficiency in conducting noise assessments and surveys for energy infrastructure-related projects
Responsibilities:
5. Close coordination with all stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
6. Collaborating at all stages of a project’s lifecycle
7. Executing background noise surveys and predictions to create noise chapters for EIA and other supporting documents
8. Utilising advanced problem-solving and workplace best practices to uphold company integrity
