Workshop Manager – Structural and Architectural Steel

Are you an experienced leader in steel fabrication with a passion for quality and efficiency? We are seeking a Workshop Manager to join our team, overseeing a workshop of up to 20 welders, fabricators, and apprentices, delivering exceptional work in structural and architectural steel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and motivate a skilled team to meet production targets.
* Plan and coordinate workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
* Communicate effectively with design, project management, and other departments to maintain smooth operations.
* Review and interpret technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality in fabrication.
* Uphold high standards of health, safety, and quality control in the workshop.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within structural and architectural steel or construction.
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication/Welding or equivalent qualification.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage workshop operations and ensure the team's productivity.
