Job Description:
Working in leisure provides a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a wide team of colleagues from multiple disciplines. We are looking for a member who can enjoy the unique challenges that this sometimes presents.
This position will require the individual to take responsibility for the successful, timely, and safe completion of all reactive and planned maintenance tasks across the sites within the contract.
This will be done by organizing works with approved contractors and by completing minor works personally or as part of the contract maintenance team.
The successful individual must be able to work with their colleagues, including the Site General Manager and Site Safety Coordinator, to mitigate disruption to the business while always putting Health & Safety first.
Asset management, Reactive Maintenance, and Planned Maintenance will be tracked and managed on internal Facilities Management tools; therefore, the successful candidate must be computer literate.
All service reports, remedials, and compliance evidence must be maintained to an exceptional standard in preparation for frequent internal and external auditing.
Required tools, PPE, and uniform will be provided.
The successful candidate will be put through and required to pass training in several areas (if they do not already hold the relevant qualifications), including Pool Plant Operator, PASMA, and IPAF.
Ideally, the candidate will be motivated to identify energy-saving initiatives and propose solutions with the help of the group support network and the site's Carbon Reduction Champion.
The contract requires that the individual in this role holds:
1. Minimum Level 3 apprenticeship in Maintenance or similar - such as Mechanical Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (9320).
2. Experience and qualifications in a Maintenance Trade.
