Purpose of the Role
Join our dynamic Cost & Contracts team within the Logistics function as a Distribution Process Specialist. In this exciting role, you'll ensure quality across our global outbound supply chain, from factory to retailer. Your expertise will be crucial in driving Bentley's Beyond100+ strategy, aiming for sustainable luxury and excellence. By maintaining best-in-class quality standards, you'll help us achieve our mission of delivering unparalleled customer experiences and supporting Bentley's ambitious goals. Be part of a team that shapes the future of luxury automotive logistics! Reporting into the Senior Manager - Logistics Contracts & Cost Optimisation your main responsibilities include;
* Conduct scheduled internal and external compliance audits throughout the vehicle distribution supply chain to ensure technical quality standards are maintained.
* Evaluate supplier capabilities and enforce correct quality standards, measured against Bentleys technical quality standards.
Transport damage claims analysis:
* Review all retailer claims related to transport damage, coordinating with Bentleys claim management company, analyse distribution data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
* Lead initiatives to continuously improve distribution processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
* Evaluate current and potential supply base transportation equipment to ensure all finished vehicle carrying equipment meets quality and safety standards.
* Conduct random compliance audits and provide monthly written KPI reports identifying positive observations and required corrective actions.
* Support function with all contract tenders including all aspects of technical levelling.
Training & Development:
* Develop training packages for the wider distribution supply chain on all aspects of handling, storing and transporting Bentley products.
* Develop and distribute relevant training documents for all Importers and Retailers informing them on how to receive new Bentley product.
* Raise and track all outbound purchase orders.
* Import all outbound monthly invoices into Bentley outbound tracking system.
* Price match all contracted costs and query all exceptions.

About you – Skills and Experience
* A high degree of analytical skills along with communication and presentation skills at all levels.
* Analytical and problem solving skills.
* Financial management experience and also budgetary control would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of Outbound supply chain logistics would be a distinct advantage.
* Knowledge of Transport related issues and regulations.
* Skilled user of Microsoft Office Suite including Power BI.
