Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Brand to lead the evolution of the brand strategy and communications for our client. This role will shape and bring to life the brand vision, creating compelling, effective campaigns across all touchpoints to drive growth, customer loyalty, and market presence.
Success in this role will be measured by creative effectiveness—work that drives like-for-like sales, brand awareness, reputation, and digital engagement. This position requires a blend of strategic insight, creative leadership, and the ability to execute at pace in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy
* Develop and execute a brand strategy that strengthens market positioning, drives advocacy, and scales brand presence.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive, high-impact marketing strategies.
* Champion customer insights to ensure brand messaging and campaigns resonate with target audiences.
Product & Packaging
* Lead product and packaging innovation, ensuring alignment with brand identity and commercial objectives.
* Work closely with product development and creative teams to deliver best-in-class packaging that enhances the customer experience.
Retail & Digital Marketing
* Oversee brand presence across both physical and digital retail channels, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
* Develop in-store and online marketing initiatives that drive engagement and sales.
Campaigns & Promotions
* Create and manage a promotional calendar that aligns with seasonal opportunities and brand milestones.
* Lead integrated campaigns, including product launches, partnerships, and experiential activations to enhance brand reach and impact.
* Utilise customer data, market research, and sales insights to inform brand decisions and marketing strategy.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a strong market position.
* Inspire and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Own brand marketing effectiveness, budget management, and agency relationships to ensure strong ROI.
* Work cross-functionally with commercial, product, and operations teams to align brand initiatives with business objectives.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience leading brand strategy for a premium consumer brand, ideally one that has scaled rapidly in the UK and internationally.
* Strong creative judgement with the ability to drive impactful storytelling and visual branding.
* Expertise across the full marketing mix, including digital, retail, and packaging.
* Ability to synthesise data and insights into strategic recommendations.
* Strong leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring and managing teams.
* Experience in a high-growth environment with both physical and digital retail channels ('bricks and clicks').
