We are confidentially instructed by a key London law firm client seeking to add capability to their existing and successful real estate offering. Our client is a boutique London law firm and the successful candidate will be working in a small, established group and in particular alongside two experienced Property partners. This position offers excellent client responsibility and development opportunities in a stable practice. The work will primarily be in regard to residential property matters, although there will be some commercial property transactions and we are seeking a candidate who is flexible in this regard. Residential sales and purchases will include properties in prime London and outside of this, and for investors, occupiers and sellers. You will also be involved in leasehold reform as well as property management work, to include, purely by way of example, licences to assign and licences to underlet. We are seeking a residential or commercial property lawyer who has a solid career background including good residential experience and with ideally between two and four years' PQE, although we will certainly consider applicants within one year's PQE of this level with good technical ability. You may have current London experience or be at a regional or a national law firm; of most importance is a good all-round personality and solid technical and client skills. Our client is ideally seeking someone able to be in the office full-time during the probation period and with a view to discussion about hybrid working arrangements following this. Whilst the salary will not be at the level of mid/large City firms, chargeable hours will be very low for a London firm. In addition, you will be getting excellent hands-on experience and the chance to genuinely progress in a stable, established practice.
