Overview:
To provide leadership, direction and facilitate the management of the UK compounding centre in line with the company values and objectives.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader will provide managerial and supervisory direction to the Aseptic Services Unit team. This role will be 37.5 hours a week Monday-Friday, 6am - 2pm alternating with 2pm - 10pm on a weekly basis and it will be based in Runcorn.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment, engagement, development, motivation and retention of quality and committed staff
2. Compliance of company policies and legislative requirements to include Health and Safety, cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), ISO Standards and HR related policies & procedures
3. Contribution and participation as an individual and representative of Fresenius Kabi UK in future development and the roll out of the company strategy
4. To achieve the Compounding centre Operations directives on a daily, monthly and annual basis
5. Set operational objectives to ensure that activity is delivered on time and to the agreed accredited standard
6. Implementation of local and corporate management practices
7. Assist in maintaining the Quality Assurance Accreditation Programme
8. Attend management meetings as required
Qualifications:
1. Experience in Pharmaceutical Aseptics or Medical Devices (Compounding)
2. Managerial or supervisory experience
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Strong knowledge of GMP requirements
5. Excellent people management skills
