As Head of Sales, reporting to the Regional Director you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective regional sales strategy consisting of Business Development Managers & Internal Sales Managers, ensuring we have robust and consistent sales processes and management of those processes allowing a motivated sales team the ability to fully focussed on delivering maximum revenue.
This is an exciting role that requires an experienced and successful sales leader, someone who can demonstrate leading their teams with passion, confidence, credibility and focus.

Responsibilities include: ? To develop and maintain customer relationships to win business for Nationwide Platforms ? To identify and progress opportunities for new lines of business, including the identification of new growth sectors & customers, in accordance with the business development strategy ? To contribute to the budget process for the team.
? To manage a team of ?sector specialists' utilising measurement tools to ensure consistency and improving performance ? To oversee the regional sales team in progress of key ?mixed' accounts.
? To be the point of liaison between the UK Business Unit and BlueSky; to address delivery, new product, and supply, and any other BlueSky related issues, and to ensure these are communicated to the relevant person(s) ? To negotiate and manage (where applicable) contracts at all levels to the mutual benefit of Nationwide Platforms and the customer ? To work with and gain the co-operation and commitment of other Nationwide Platforms functions in support of business development ? To be responsible for the risk management of S.V key accounts The ideal candidate will have/be: ? Extensive experience of strategic sales management within a plant and/or equipment hire environment ? Excellent analytical ability and use of data to develop both tactical and strategic responses ? Ability to prioritise and maintain deadlines ?
