We have a unique opportunity for a full time Night Security person to join our vibrant JCA team. Based at our beautiful Manor House activity centre, Condover Hall, where we offer fun and exciting outdoor based activities for children. Benefits: Staff events - there are a host of events that you'll have the chance to be a part of at Croft Farm Employee discounts - Being part of Experience Education you will have access to the Benefit Hub, our discount app, which can save you money on every day spend such as your supermarket shop, high street purchases or even holidays within the group Free parking - one less thing to worry about when journeying to work The details: Permanent, part-time position – 24 hours per week Working nights are Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 10.30pm to 7.30am, with a one hour break Salary is paid at £17,472 per year (£29,142 full time equivalent) Your key duties can include: Monitoring the CCTV, regular patrols and keeping record of any situations that arise Effective control of the centre entrances Monitoring staff and guest behaviour, swiftly resolving any situations that may cause a disturbance Following due diligence procedures Providing customer service & reception duty when needed Being a key-holder and securing the centre as required Reporting staff sickness Dealing with minor maintenance issues, guest queries or complaints Completing administrative tasks to include the use of a PC Holding out of hours centre emergency phone & fire pager Whilst our guests and staff sleep, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment. Your role will include conducting regular patrols of the site ensuring noise curfews are being adhered to, providing prompt assistance to customers and completing tasks that contribute towards the presentation of the centre. You will take the initial lead in managing emergency procedures at night time. What are we looking for? Previous experience working in an overnight role, or comfortable with working a night role Basic maintenance knowledge, someone who can assist with maintenance issues that arise overnight Someone who is comfortable working with children, with excellent customer service skills Someone who is happy to turn their hand to anything, no two nights are the same and you could find yourself dealing with anything from a maintenance issue to something more serious A reliable individual who is able to think on their feet and deal with a range of situations as they arise Someone who has, or is willing to complete a first aid qualification Our Recruitment Team is based at our Head Office in Brighton so we may call you from a Brighton number (01273)
