Job summary We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate with a strong work ethic to join the Renal Research Team. This post requires the candidate to have certification in venepuncture. Experience in a patient facing role, further clinical skills and laboratory skills are also an advantage. The candidate must be familiar with Microsoft applications and working with large amounts of information on databases. The post holder will be expected to work under the support and guidance of the multidisciplinary research team. Further clinical skills and a knowledge, understanding and experience of the clinical research process, including ICH-GCP and research governance are an advantage. The post requires flexibility and the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Some early morning working and evening work may be required. The post will involve liaison with all grades of staff in a multi-disciplinary department; therefore the ability to communicate clearly, calmly and effectively with a broad range of people is important.
