About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to manage all aspects of Property & Asset Management on behalf of one of our major infrastructure clients. This role will be based in their West Malling office.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-day Management : Oversee a mixed property portfolio, ensuring smooth operations.
2. Leasing and Letting : Manage the leasing and letting of properties.
3. Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals : Conduct and manage rent reviews and lease renewals.
4. Asset Acquisition : Handle the acquisition and onboarding of new assets into the portfolio.
5. Property Disposal : Identify and assist with the disposal of surplus property.
6. Rent Collection : Collect rents and other dues, including chasing arrears.
7. Facilities Management Liaison : Ensure all compliance checks are complete.
8. Property Maintenance : Organize and manage improvements, repairs, and maintenance work.
9. Property Inspections : Undertake annual and periodic property inspections.
10. Asset Management : Identify and implement asset management opportunities.
11. Development Opportunities : Identify strategic development opportunities.
12. Stakeholder Management : Manage relations with key stakeholders.
13. Client Reporting : Provide accurate and timely client reports.
14. Legislation Knowledge : Maintain a strong working knowledge of appropriate legislation.
15. Site Visits : Conduct site visits for various inspections and contractor meetings.
Qualifications and Skills
16. Experience : Previous experience in residential property management.
17. Knowledge : Familiarity with compliance and CDM regulations is advantageous.
18. Skills : Strong client, tenant, stakeholder, and contractor management skills. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
19. Attributes : Highly organized with good time management skills.
