Job Purpose:
BPU is one of the largest independent firms of Chartered Accountants based in South Wales and is looking for an experienced qualified accountant to join its professional team. The firm is offering a competitive salary and benefits package as follows:

The Person:
* ACCA or ACA qualified or qualified by experience
* Or studying towards ACCA/ACA professional accounting qualification
* A minimum of two years of practice experience is essential
* Good working knowledge of FRS102 reporting standards
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly organised and self-motivated
* Team player who is not afraid to put forward ideas
* Willing to help develop and train junior staff
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
* Preparation of draft corporation tax computations for review by the firm’s tax department
* Lead a team completing external audits, from initial planning stage through to completion
* Working and liaising with colleagues in other departments as necessary to provide high-quality client service
* Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and set deadlines
* Ability to appropriately train junior members of staff
* Report directly to a Manager
