THE ROLE The VIP and Influencer Manager will identify, cultivate, and manage high-impact relationships with global celebrities and influencers to build brand awareness and deliver growth. This role will oversee strategic gifting, influencer campaigns, VIP carries and content distribution while ensuring alignment with Strathberry’s marketing objectives and brand purpose and pillars, working closely with the wider PR team for support. A key focus will be leveraging these partnerships to amplify brand awareness through press coverage, event attendance, stakeholder communication and broader engagement initiatives such as social and email, affiliates, with a key focus on the US market. Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position based either in Edinburgh or London. We are currently operating a hybrid working approach with a minimum of 3 fixed days required each week working from our office in either central Edinburgh or London. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Celebrity Relations: Build and nurture existing and new relationships with global celebrities, stylists, and agents, with the objective to place Strathberry on relevant and visible celebrities. Maintain strong relationships with existing VIPs and partners. Collaborate with global agencies to ensure alignment with overarching strategies. Coordinate the communication of VIP placements with the retail and wholesale teams, ensuring key brand moments are shared to enhance engagement and drive awareness. Manage the product placed with celebrities to maximise the chance of a carry and support business priorities. Influencer Campaign Planning & Execution: Own influencer marketing and seeding campaigns, identifying fresh and loyal creators across diverse audiences and markets with the support of the wider PR team. Plan and execute influencer marketing campaigns, serving as a liaison between influencers, agents, and internal teams. Manage gifting processes, including ideating seasonal gifting packages and coordinating product orders, with the wider team and the Japanese and US PR agencies. Track and measure influencer engagement, content impact, and campaign success to refine strategies. Through data-driven insights and influencer performance, develop Strathberry’s “bench” of long-term partnerships, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand values, and generate growth and budget efficiencies. Work closely with the ecommerce team to leverage commercial opportunities, paid usage rights and affiliate opportunities. Oversee content creation and distribution with global marketing and e-commerce teams. Event Attendance & Amplification: Lead the delivery of influencer specific events. Leverage influencer and VIP relationships to secure their attendance at key Strathberry events, generating brand visibility and media coverage. Collaborate with the PR team to ensure seamless integration of influencers and VIPs into activations. Develop strategies to maximise exposure from event participation across press, social media, and wholesale networks. Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track and analyse campaign performance against KPIs to inform strategy and decision-making. Compile competitive analysis and performance reports for internal stakeholders. Budget & Resource Management: Partner with the Global PR Manager to manage budgets and timelines for campaigns. Ensure efficient allocation of resources while delivering impactful results. ABOUT YOU As a star candidate for this position, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: 4 years of experience managing influencer, celebrity, and agency relationships, ideally within luxury fashion. Existing contacts and relationships for celebrity and influencer placements. Exceptional relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders. A pulse on global fashion, art, and cultural trends. Experience in reporting, including the use of influencer management and media monitoring platforms. Experience of contract and fee negotiation. A solid understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and usage for paid media. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and experience handling multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working with global teams is an asset. Strong presentation, prioritisation and time-management abilities. A passion for content and delivering innovative marketing solutions. Experience in influencer affiliate activations would be desirable.
