We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. This role is critical in enhancing practice performance and supporting the team. Proficiency in Tracker software is an asset. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and self-motivated.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care.
2. Set up treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain dental equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
3. Take and process dental X-rays, as well as perform dental impressions and other necessary laboratory procedures.
4. Conduct oral health assessments and provide patients with simple terms with oral hygiene techniques.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and provide support with administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
1. Must have CDA level II with HARP Certification.
2. High-level knowledge of dental procedures, and the ability to discuss treatment plans with patients professionally and effectively while providing various available options.
3. Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Tracker experience is an asset.
6. Valid CPR/First AID Certification and IPAC Certification are required.
