Admin and logistics coordinator
Location – Elland
Pay rate £12.00 Paye – £13.44 Adv
Shift pattern – Monday to Friday – 8:30am – 17:00pm
Driver Hire are working closely with a client based in the Elland area of Halifax to provide a self-motivated, resilient and hard working Admin and Logistics Coordinator to join a small, close-knit team of office staff! You will have a fun, outgoing nature with the ability to have a laugh with the team whilst getting the job done in a timely manner.
The Ideal candidate will:
1. Have the ability to think outside the box, be forward thinking and prioritise effectively
2. It is also advantageous to have a geographical understanding of the local area.
3. You will b able to use a multitude of tasks using four main software-based systems: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Sage and a bespoke business system
4. Work in a fast-paced environment where customer service is key, alongside a small family feel dynamic team
This is a diverse office-based role for the right pro active candidate who has the ability to think outside the box. You will be joining a small cohort of office staff who work closely together to provide high quality customer service to the clients they have. We welcome applicants who have had experience working in a pub setting to have that general understanding of what the clients needs are and how you can meet these to a high standard of quality and care!
You may be expected to pull the gas canisters through to reception for clients who come to collect from the office however, these aren’t overly heavy and this is occasional.

Administration
5. Updating delivery schedules
6. Dealing with payments via card, cash, cheque
7. Outbound and incoming call handling
8. Daily filing
9. Daily Balancing
10. Preparing orders for forth coming orders
11. Updating customer details
12. Other administrative duties may be required from time to time
Customer services
13. Speaking to existing and potential customers in a professional telephone manner
14. Dealing with customers who collect direct from the office, may require you to move the smaller gas cannisters to reception
15. Handling queries from all customers
