We have an exciting opportunity in our Economy and Regeneration team for a Receptionist to support the delivery of the Business Cyber Centre in Chippenham.
As a receptionist, you will support a range of administrative and facilities management tasks to ensure that the site remains operational. You will be the main point of contact for enquiries and for the visitor experience, whether people are visiting the Business Cyber Centre for a meeting or for regular use. As part of your role, you will be responsible for handling digital bookings of meeting rooms and events, ensuring rooms are set up with necessary equipment, layout and refreshments, as well as handling administrative tasks.
This position requires flexibility for events and site emergencies, making it ideal for someone local, returning to work, or seeking a career change.
Confidence and professionalism in interacting with people at all levels—face-to-face, in writing, and over the phone—are essential. You must be able to manage your workload and prioritise deadlines effectively.
If you’re an enthusiastic team player with a keen eye for detail, highly organised and efficient, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
As a casual worker, you'll have no fixed hours and will work on an as-needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You are not obligated to be available, and the Council is not obliged to offer you work.
