What this school is looking for:

* Relevant experience teaching 11–16 year-olds within the last 2 years.
* A professional manner and a flexible attitude to working and timetable changes.
* Strong behaviour management and the ability to implement the school’s behaviour policies is also essential.
Job Description:
* Delivering engaging Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Supporting, advising, guiding, and supervising students throughout the school day.
* Supporting and guiding students when doing practical Science experiments.
* To have a primary focus on maintaining good order and ensuring students are on task so that learning can take place.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
* Bachelor’s degree in Science.
* Recent experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
* Good behaviour/classroom management.
* Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
* The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
* Experience in teaching A-Level Science is desirable.
