Protocol Education is looking to recruit an experienced Maths Teacher to join a specialist SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) school in Thurrock on a Long-term/Permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to providing tailored support for students with a variety of needs.
The school primarily supports students with Autism, as well as severe, profound, and complex needs. We are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic about working with SEND students and has a flexible, compassionate approach to teaching. Experience or qualifications in special educational needs is preferred, but not essential!
Key Responsibilities :
* Teach Maths to students with diverse abilities and needs
* Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that promote understanding and confidence in mathematics
* Build positive relationships with students to encourage a supportive learning environment
* Collaborate with a team of SEND specialists to provide holistic support
* Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
* Promote an inclusive, positive atmosphere where all students can succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
