Job Description:
We are looking to employ the right candidate to work alongside our existing workshop team to keep up with demand. The position is predominantly workshop-based but will require weekend work during race season on a rota basis.
We require a motivated and enthusiastic technician with a passion for classic and performance cars and a keen interest in racing. The work is fast-paced, eclectic, and interesting, involving a wide range of classic vehicles from Morris Minors to 450bhp thoroughbred race cars!
The individual must be self-motivated and able to manage their own workload while also being a team player, as we are a small business and require everyone to contribute.
They must have experience in classic car repair and diagnosis, knowledge of carburettor systems, kingpins, and old car electrics, as well as familiarity with modern vehicle systems such as fuel injection, modern electrics, and ECUs.

Experience:
* Proven experience as a classic car technician or similar role.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, including proficiency in vehicle electrics.
* Familiarity with operating power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment.
* Ability to read and understand technical documents, including schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, as race days are client-focused and one-on-one.
