Job Description
What will you be doing?
As a Mechanical Engineer - Valves Contracts you will join us in Bristol to support our activities within the Energy Sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Surveillance of technical documents and drawings from contractors.
* Conduct technical reviews and resolve issues/queries.
* Review, approve, and contribute to design development as required.
* Assess and manage non-conformances, exemptions, and design changes.
* Oversee the evolution of contract scope and technical requirements.
* Review and approve contract amendments and exemptions (CTSs, ERs).
* Coordinate with RD and client teams to ensure seamless integration of equipment with interfacing systems.
* Provide regular updates on risks, issues, and progress to support contract delivery.
* Ensure qualification activities align with contract progress and site requirements.
Who are we looking for?
* A strong background in technical leadership within nuclear, energy, or complex engineering projects.
* Experience in contract oversight, design review, and technical issue resolution.
* Proficiency in reviewing technical documentation, drawings, and qualification processes.
* Ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
* Proven experience in designing and analysing reviewing technical documentation, drawings, and qualification processes.
* Relevant Industrial background in either oil and gas, chemical, power or Nuclear sector.
