The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in a similar role, with proficiency as a setter/operator, including programming Fanuc Systems on 4 Axis or 4+1 Axis Hurco, machining centres. Inspection skills are crucial, alongside PC literacy, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word. A comprehensive understanding of working with materials such as Steel, Aluminium, Bronze, and Plastics, coupled with experience in machining to precise tolerances, is essential. The ability to interpret engineering drawings with confidence is also required.
Remuneration is competitive, ranging from £15.50 to £17.00 per hour, reflective of experience. The role offers a structured work week from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, and Friday, 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, with abundant overtime possibilities at an enhanced rate.
