Milestone Infrastructure is currently looking to recruit Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor to work on our Civils Projects in London and the South East of England.
The purpose of this role is to provide functional Health, Safety and Wellbeing advice, guidance and coaching to the operational teams. The position supports the contract/project team in establishing and maintaining the highest levels of Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
As the HSW Advisor your duties & responsibilities will be:
* Advise, guide and coach all personnel with the implementation of the Milestone Infrastructure Management System (MIMS)
* Advise the contract/project on HSW plans, e.g. construction phase plan, depot HSW plan and risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
* Ensure all incidents are reported and escalated where necessary
* Undertake incident investigations and identify preventative measures for next time
* Maintain the incident management database
* Carry out monthly HSW reports
* Conduct, as a minimum, HSW audits and inspections as per the schedule(s) recording findings/actions on Procore
* Assist the contract/project to close out actions/non-conformances from HSW audits and inspections
* Support the business with work winning when requested
* Identify and produce award submissions, e.g. .RoSPA
* Carry out specific briefings as instructed by HSW manager

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
Essential
Previous experience in health and safety. Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Technician, or Graduate membership of IOSH.
Desirable
Working towards chartered membership of IOSH, NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH National Certificate in the Management of Health and Well-being at Work, or MSc / PGD in Occupational Health & Safety Management or equivalent
