We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Operational Manager to lead our team and ensure seamless event execution.
Role Overview:As the Operational Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that every wedding and event runs smoothly. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and their guests, from the initial planning stages to the final send-off. This is a new role for the business, due to significant growth, and the right individual will bring a wealth of experience to the operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all operational aspects of the venue.
* Collaborate with the wedding coordinators to understand each couples vision and ensure all details are executed flawlessly.
* Manage and train staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and performance.
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
* Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
* Monitor budgetary performance and manage event costs to ensure profitability.
* Address any issues or challenges that arise during events promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in operations management in the events / hospitality industry.
* Demonstration of formal training and qualifications.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
