Job Description:
VANRATH are recruiting a Business Development Executive to join a leading supplier that sells into the construction industry.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 4.30pm
We are also happy to offer HYBRID WORKING (first 3-4 weeks in-office for training).
The Role:
You will be primarily responsible for promoting and selling our brands, through day-to-day management of the sales territory and customer relationships. This role has a lot of progression opportunities, moving into a Business Development Manager role and leading a team of executives.
Responsibilities:
* Email and outbound calls to leads in leads list - generating sales and uncovering opportunity in the markets we work in
* Calls during 'power hours' when we get the most traction
* Develop pipeline on CRM system
* Following up on calls, quotations, and queries with each client in effective time
* Assist with service queries
* Devise your week and following week's plans and objectives
The Ideal Person:
* Fluent English speaker, both written and verbally
* Track record of bringing in new business or gaining new business from ex-clients
* Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external customers
* Experience of sales within the construction industry / builders merchants.
