Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher
Location: Lincolnshire
Salary: £31650 - £49084 per annum
Start Date: Easter 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialized school committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' educational journeys.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
* Employ a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
* Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
* Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and academic growth.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization or experience in Special Educational Needs.
* Strong understanding of SEN best practices and legal requirements.
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
