EQUANS are recruiting for a Multi Trade Carpenter to be based in Kings Road, Tyseley to work on repairs and maintenance contract for Birmingham City Council properties throughout Birmingham.
This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
What will you deliver?
* To carry out project defined carpentry work to a high standard as directed
* Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship
* Maintain and care for all company tools
* Joining prefabricated materials in accordance with design plans using appropriate fixings
* Making repairs and restoring damaged parts
* Carry out various multi trade tasks to a high standard as instructed by the company including Plumbing, Carpentry and Painting & Decorating

Who are we looking for?
* Previous site-based work experience
* Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
* Knowledge of working within the Public Sector
* Experience with machine shop tooling
* Valid clean driving licence
* Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans
