What the Job Involves Maintaining and repairing the council's fleet, including third-party vehicles and plant machinery, ensuring they are legally roadworthy. Diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and interpreting technical instructions with efficiency and safety. Manufacturing, fabricating parts, and implementing vehicle modifications as needed. Providing roadside assistance, estimating repair costs, and ordering necessary parts using the Fleet Management System. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and council policies.
