The Role:
As the KS2 Class Teacher, you will take on full classroom responsibilities, fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. In addition to teaching, you will play a key role in driving improvement in English across the school, supporting colleagues and leading best practices to raise attainment and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners in KS2
- Assess pupil progress and use data effectively to inform teaching
- Collaborate with staff to raise standards in English, with a focus on reading and writing
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and support its inclusive ethos
- Engage positively with parents and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching in KS2
- A strong track record of improving outcomes in English
- Passion for education and a commitment to high standards
- Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine love of teaching
