We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) who will carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs across production equipment to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum and production runs efficiently.

The Role
* Carry out maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facilities.
* Mechanical and electrical repairs on a range of machinery to minimise downtime.
* Fault finding to resolve issues and identify root cause.
* Carry out planned maintenance and contribute to maintenance schedules.
* Comply with company HSEQ and ensure risks are eliminated during maintenance work.
* Record maintenance information using maintenance software.
* Promote best practice in maintenance, quality, housekeeping, and H&S.
* Work with colleagues effectively and across all areas of the business.
What we are looking for
* Level 3 qualified apprenticeship in Engineering or similar.
* Proven maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing/production setting.
* Strong mechanical skills and knowledge, including welding, fitting, and repairs.
* Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, drives, and motors.
* Ability to understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
