You'll be provided with world-class training which will allow you to become a testing and inspection guru. You'll use your mechanical engineering knowledge, particularly around maintenance and inspection, to test a variety of crane and lifting systems to ensure their safety, produce surveys, recommend works and advise your clients on changes to legalisations.
If you're an experienced mechanical engineer who wants to progress in your career, keep your hand in technically but without the hassle of looking after a team this is a great move for you.
You'll be working in complex environments around the North West so you'll never be bored - with the added benefit of making sure the lifting and crane kit remains safe for those using it.
You'll be the go-to person for these organisations keeping their kit safe and operational so this job comes with a lot of clout. Because of that we will need you to have at least a HNC in a Mechanical Engineering discipline and some experience maintaining lifting equipment, MEWPs, access platforms, cranes, HIABs etc.
